Written by former students and colleagues, the papers concentrate of topics of interest to Professor Alexander, namely Ottoman Christian communities, the Ottoman Balkans and the Greek lands. The authors follow in the footsteps of Alexander’s scholarly philosophy of questioning existing theories and the need to find evidence to support them.
