A series of reports of a series of finds from the border cities of imperial Roman era Phrygia and an attempt to reconstruct the relative size and importance of those cities during the late Roman empire. Includes Roman finds from major and minor cities along the Phrygian border with text, translation, commentary, and plates of inscriptions and objects. Part two attempts to establish relative size and age of the Phrygian cities from literary sources. Part three continues in the manner of part 1, surveying the major finds in more of the border cities of Phrygia. It ends with a series of notes correcting the original article. A thorough review of the physical evidence remaining in the border cities of imperial Roman Phyrgia.
