A translated extract from a much longer Syriac/Arabic work, this short catalogue lists the heresies known on the Syrian frontier of the Roman Empire in the beginning of the fifth century: Sabbatians, Simonians, Marcionites, the followers of Paul of Samosata, the Manichees, Borborians, Cucians, Daizanites, Arimanites, Montanists, Timotheans, Cathars, and others. The Syriac and Arabic works are presented in German and Latin translation.
