Early Christian Writers: A Commentary Series investigates individual books of the Old and New Testament through the eyes of two early Christian writers from the Church – one from the Eastern part of the Church and the other from the West. The series interacts with Greek and Hebrew biblical texts as well as the thought patterns of the highlighted early Christian writers. It includes original translations of the two selected early Christian writers and their direct comments on the biblical book in question.
