The Journal for Late Antique Religion and Culture (JLARC) is a peer-reviewed journal edited by members of the Cardiff Centre for Late Antique Religion and Culture (CLARC) and published by Cardiff University, publicising online scholarly articles and reviews in the field of Late Antique Studies. Its particular interest lies in studies related to religion and culture. The Journal considers studies from the late Hellenistic to the early Medieval and Byzantine periods, including – in terms of reception studies – in relation to earlier and later periods, in particular Classical Antiquity and the modern world. In geographical terms the Journal reaches from the Latin west to the Greek and Syriac east and beyond. The editorial team and the peer-review college include experts in the relevant Classical and Oriental languages and in History, Archaeology, Philosophy, Theology, and Religious and Cultural Studies.
