Oeniadae is a site known for its well-preserved ship-sheds that provide important insight into the running of Greek naval power in the 5th and 4th centuries BC. Powell and Sears's site report includes sections on the history and topography of this site, the remains of the theater and the inscriptions left on its walls, a small temple, hilltop villa, a Greek bath, and the famous ship-sheds that housed the local fleet.
