Pauline Allen was educated in Australia, UK, and Belgium. She is the foundation director of the Centre for Early Christian Studies at Australian Catholic University and the author of books and articles on the literature of late antiquity. A Research Associate in the Department of Ancient Languages at the University of Pretoria, she is also a past-president of the International Association of Patristic Studies.
