Persephone Rising is the story of the Greek goddess Persephone as she journeys through the underworld in a tale of love, betrayal, and wisdom. Persephone Rising weaves the ancient and modern world into a rich tapestry creating a new myth; one that evolves into a love-triangle between Hades, Persephone and the Red Queen. The themes of Dreams and Freedom are explored as Persephone moves from the underworld to the world above ground to claim her symbolic identity as the goddess of Spring.

Persephone Rising is a testament to the transformational power of the spirit; of love and forgiveness. Persephone's story is at once mythic and human; taking the reader into both the private and public dimensions of initiation, transformation and renewal.
