Rikke D. Giles is an independent archaeological researcher focusing on the Roman Empire, pre-historic and medieval Europe, and post-medieval England. She holds a B.S. in Engineering from Santa Clara University, a M.A. in Archaeology from Newcastle University (Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England), and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Giles has lectured extensively on aspects of her research and related computer technologies.
