Roger Akhrass is Archbishop, Patriarchal Vicar for Syriac Studies. He completed his PhD in Patristics at the Catholic University of Paris (2013). Since 2015, he has been the director of the Department of Syriac Studies in the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate. He is the author of more than 40 articles on Syriac Liturgy and Theology, in English, French and Arabic.
