Dr. Scott Ables (DPhil, Oxon) is Lecturer in the School of History, Philosophy, and Religion at Oregon State University.  His research interests include the history of Christianity and historical and systematic theology, his research has focused on the intellectual history, cultural context, and theological program of the eighth-century sectarian theologian John of Damascus.
