This volume, originally published as Volume 3 of Cambridge's Texts and Studies series, contains the English translation of the Liturgical Homilies as edited and translated by Dom R.H. Connolly. Connolly also includes a thorough introduction to the contents of these homilies and the comparison of this content with other liturgucal texts. The subjects of the four homilies published are: "An Exposition of the Mysteries," "On Baptism," "On the Mysteries of the Church and on Baptism," and "On the Church and on the Priesthood." The volume also iincludes an appendix by Edmund Bishop with various observations on the liturgical materials found in Narsai's homilies.
